Regional Sales Manager (Uganda)

About the role

HACO Industries, a leading FMCG manufacturer supplying the East African and COMESA markets, is hiring two Regional Sales Managers for Uganda. The role reports to the National Sales Manager and is based in Uganda; employment is administered through Career Options Africa Limited as the local Employer of Record.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute sales strategies aligned with regional revenue targets and company goals.
• Direct, mentor and inspire the regional sales team to build a high-performance culture and meet sales targets.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as major distributors and wholesalers.
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activity to spot emerging opportunities.
• Generate and present sales reports, revenue forecasts and performance analytics to senior management.
• Partner with marketing on promotional campaigns and go-to-market activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a comparable role within FMCG.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing general trade.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region as business needs require.

Required skills

• Proficiency in interpreting sales data and generating market insights.
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office.
