Sales & Marketing Officer – Insurance Agency

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales & Marketing position based in Kampala with an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting agency services and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Promote agency services to potential clients.
• Meet with potential and current clients to discuss needs.
• Present marketing solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts and prepare proposals.
• Monitor market trends and attend industry events as needed.
• Provide feedback to improve service offerings.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, including clear presentation and professional correspondence.
• Customer service and client relationship management abilities to ensure a positive client experience.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting targets and closing deals.
• Training and sales management capabilities to support team development and oversee sales activities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (added advantage).
