Sales Representative – International Trade Finance

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our Kampala office and drive new business in the international trade finance sector. You will work closely with global partners and clients, delivering tailored financial solutions that enable secure cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new leads across diverse markets.
• Present trade finance products, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts to close sales.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee accurate documentation and timely service delivery.
• Track daily sales activities, update CRM records and generate performance reports.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within financial services or trade.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex financial products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and manage a sales pipeline with minimal supervision.
• Professional ethics, attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
