Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Staff position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential clients, promoting the agency’s recruitment and advertising services, and building lasting customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business opportunities and follow up on leads.
• Conduct sales meetings, prepare proposals and negotiate service agreements.
• Maintain accurate sales records and regularly report on performance.
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Provide market trend updates and client feedback to support service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer service, relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in services or advertising.
• Effective presentation, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Basic proficiency with office software and comfort working with sales reports.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently or within a team.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Kampala is a plus.
