Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Staff role based in Kampala. The Sales Staff will identify and approach potential clients, present the agency’s advertising and marketing services, and follow up on leads to convert them into long‑term business relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and approach potential clients.
• Schedule and attend client meetings.
• Prepare sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met.
• Participate in promotional events and campaigns to increase brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Knowledge of advertising, marketing, and promotion services with the ability to explain solutions clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build professional relationships.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, including accurate record‑keeping and meeting deadlines.
• Basic proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM or sales‑tracking software.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or client‑facing roles, preferably within an agency.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advantageous).
