Sales Team Leader - Car Logbook Loans

About the role

Mogo Uganda is hiring a Sales Team Leader for its car logbook loan business in Kampala. The role recruits, trains and leads car logbook loan sales agents and keeps the branch portfolio healthy. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new car logbook sales agents daily to meet monthly hiring targets, with training on company policies, products and sales techniques.
• Work with field team leads so agents are well trained and supervised daily, in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor loan processing workflows, check documentation accuracy and coordinate between agents and support teams.
• Pursue timely repayments, follow up with defaulting and arrear clients and protect portfolio quality.
• Set performance targets, run regular reviews and feedback sessions, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Handle customer complaints, escalate complex issues and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with the Car Financing Manager on business plans and keep accurate records of branch documentation.
• Refresh agent training, stay informed on market trends and competitors, and supervise agents in the field daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Finance or a related field (essential).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales supervision, preferably in financial services, microfinance or car logbook loan sales.
• Proven track record of recruiting, training and supervising field sales teams.
• Certifications in Sales, Credit Management or Leadership are an added advantage.
