Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

An insurance agency is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Kampala, reporting to the Insurance Agency Manager within the Sales and Marketing department. The Sales Executive identifies and pursues new business, builds client relationships and presents agency services and proposals that meet client marketing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads, and conduct sales meetings and presentations
• Prepare quotations and contracts and follow up to close deals
• Coordinate with internal teams so campaigns are delivered smoothly
• Monitor client satisfaction and achieve defined sales targets and revenue goals
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, market trends and competitor offerings

Required profile

• Prior experience in sales, account management or business development, preferably in an agency or related industry
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is an added advantage
• Self-motivated, target-driven and willing to learn in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
