Salesperson – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a dynamic Salesperson to drive new business and manage client relationships. You will promote the agency’s advertising services, build a robust sales pipeline, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and prospect potential clients in the Kampala market.
• Schedule and conduct sales meetings, present advertising solutions and prepare proposals.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and follow up with existing clients to maintain high retention.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline, update CRM records and track performance against targets.
• Coordinate with internal marketing and production teams to deliver campaigns that meet client expectations.
• Provide regular sales reports and feedback to management.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience with strong prospecting, lead generation, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent client relationship management and customer‑service focus.
• Basic understanding of advertising and media planning concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Organised, able to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaborate in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree preferred; prior experience in sales, advertising or marketing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Kampala business environment and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
