Strategic Partnerships & Alliance Manager

About the role

The client, a software development company in Kampala, is looking for a Strategic Partnerships & Alliance Manager to identify, develop, and manage strategic alliances that support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including sales, marketing, product development and executive leadership.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and its partners.
• Develop and present business cases for proposed partnerships.
• Negotiate agreements and manage contracts with alliance partners.
• Monitor partnership health and performance, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or a related field and 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or alliance management within the tech industry.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple business functions and strong analytical skills to synthesize complex issues for stakeholders.
• Master’s degree and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a plus.
• Emotionally intelligent, confident, resilient with a collaborative mindset and ability to build trust‑based relationships.
• Entrepreneurial drive, passion for building new initiatives and strong prioritisation and time‑management abilities.
