About the role
Masheda Foods is hiring an Accountant in Kampala, Uganda, to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements and effective management of company accounts. The position is full-time and on-site.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
- Oversee payroll preparation and statutory deductions such as NSSF and PAYE.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support external audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of FRS, tax laws and compliance standards.
