Commercial Performance Analyst – Kampala

About the role

EABL, East Africa's leading branded alcohol beverage business, is hiring a Commercial Performance Analyst (Divisional Commercial Performance Specialist) in Kampala, within the Demand Sales business. The role supports Divisional Sales Managers and the field sales team in delivering planned commitments, coordinates the market in a designated territory and ensures brand presence across retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support Divisional Sales Managers and field sales teams in executing the Divisional Annual Operating Plan (volume, net sales value, gross margin and operating profit) and the commercial strategic agenda.
• Track performance, run targeted analysis and standardised quality meetings, and coach and call on accounts.
• Supervise actual sales against forecast and recommend remedial actions.
• Work with commercial field sales, finance, logistics and supply to meet daily and monthly shipment revenues.
• Keep inventory levels optimal, maximise sales force productivity through retail call management and audit pop material use.
• Ensure effective stock take and site reconciliation, distributor use of the DMS tool, master data stability and records management.

Required profile

• Business degree level with a strong academic record.
• 1-2 years of FMCG experience in sales operations, management and business analytics.
• Good relationship management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Presentation, report writing and research skills; able to work independently and as a team player.
