Support Engineer (APAC)

About the role

Supabase, the Postgres development platform, is looking for Support Engineers to provide developer support to users who encounter issues or need guidance. The team is globally distributed, focused on fast resolution, and works closely with product engineering and growth teams. This is a full-time, fully remote position based in APAC time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to support cases covering billing, pre-sales requests, optimization and implementation questions.
• Triage cases, direct users to existing answers, code examples and documentation, or escalate to the right technical or business team.
• Monitor feedback channels such as GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve support efficiency through internal tooling.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases and improve test coverage if you have testing experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of customer support experience with technical customers.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• A degree in Computer Science is a plus.

Required skills

• SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, with comfort with complex queries; database administration experience is a plus.
• Linux/Unix and command line.
• Bonus: React, Vue, Svelte and Node.js.
