Direct Sales Agent – Field Sales for Consumer Products

About the role

The Direct Sales Agent will promote and sell Koolboks products directly to customers in assigned Ugandan territories. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, demonstrating product value, and driving revenue through door‑to‑door and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through door‑to‑door sales, market activations, and community outreach.
• Explain product features, benefits, financing and payment options clearly.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and convert leads into paying customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on usage, maintenance and payment plans.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Provide after‑sales support, resolve basic issues or escalate when needed.
• Plan daily routes, keep accurate records of leads, sales and interactions.
• Submit daily and weekly sales reports and share market feedback with the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• 1–3 years of direct or field sales experience, preferably with consumer durable goods.
• Experience working in local communities and understanding customer behaviour.
• High energy, resilience, self‑motivation and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• CRM tools (mobile sales or customer‑relationship management platforms).
