About the role
The Distribution Manager will lead Airtel Uganda's distribution operations in the Butaleja region, ensuring product availability and optimal channel performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and manage product and service availability across distribution channels.
- Supervise distributors and field teams, monitoring sales performance and stock levels.
- Analyze regional market trends and support promotional activities.
- Prepare performance reports and implement process improvements.
Required profile
- Strong background in distribution, channel management, and route‑to‑market planning.
- Experience in sales operations, trade marketing, and territory management within FMCG or telecom.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proven leadership with team supervision and coaching abilities.
Required skills
- MS Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for KPI tracking.
- Inventory control and demand forecasting.
