About the role

A leading global consumer healthcare company is seeking a dynamic Expert Detailing Representative to drive healthcare provider engagement and promote key consumer healthcare brands across Uganda. The role combines face‑to‑face detailing, digital outreach, and educational support for HCPs.

Key responsibilities

Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
Recruit HCPs to digital platforms, support webinars, email outreach and guide use of patient communication tools.
Distribute medical samples, track KPIs (AWR, BRMO, SoR) and achieve territory sales targets.
Provide market insights, competitor intelligence and organize educational events.

Required profile

BSc or equivalent in a scientific field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare role.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Required skills

Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems, specifically Veeva.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and KPIs.
