Field Marketing Manager – Customer Acquisition & Brand Visibility

About the role

Chap Chap, a fast‑moving Ugandan fintech, is looking for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to lead on‑the‑ground initiatives that drive customer acquisition, boost brand visibility and expand market reach across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute field marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition and market penetration.
• Plan and manage activations, roadshows, events, branch visits and agent recruitment campaigns.
• Drive customer engagement and enhance the Chap Chap brand in target territories.
• Expand market coverage by identifying new territories and overseeing field teams and agents.
• Monitor and report on sales, acquisition, recruitment and campaign performance metrics.
• Manage field marketing resources, promotional materials and budgets.
• Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product and marketing decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar field marketing or activation role.
• Professional training in marketing research, strategic planning, product development or related disciplines is a plus.
• Membership in professional marketing bodies (e.g., UMS, CIM) is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of field marketing tactics, event activation and agent recruitment.
• Ability to analyse campaign performance data and market feedback.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
