Insurance Salesperson – Kampala

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to work on‑site in Kampala. You will engage prospective and existing clients to promote the agency’s insurance services and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities.
• Schedule, attend, and conduct client meetings to present service offerings.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and sales documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow‑up on inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to sales forecasts.
• Provide feedback on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in sales, lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the capacity to present services clearly to diverse clients.
• Organised, able to manage time effectively and keep accurate sales documentation.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kampala and willing to travel locally as needed.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is an advantage.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, respect for diversity, and collaborative teamwork.
