Training and Development Coordinator

About the role

Q-Sourcing Servtec, a manpower management solutions firm operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan, is recruiting a Training and Development Coordinator in Kampala on behalf of its client TOTAL. The post reports to the Training and Development Lead within the Human Resources department.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and implementation of the training plan for the affiliate.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance, evaluations and outcomes.
• Schedule training sessions, secure venues and manage logistics.
• Support the preparation of the nationalization plan and implement the graduate trainee and internship programmes.
• Liaise with the receiving affiliate of graduate trainees needing international training and follow up on staff individual development plans.
• Take part in staff individual review meetings and prepare related reports, including AIR, mid-year and probation assessments.
• Follow up on training needs for operators and maintenance technicians and lead the induction process.
• Prepare and contribute to quarterly, annual and other required reports on national content and authorities, and to HR and job-posting campaigns.
• Use learning management systems and other training software to deliver and track training.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a related field, or a bachelor's degree in human resource management or equivalent.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in human resources career management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; team player, organized and discreet.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MS systems.
• Use of learning management systems and training software.
