About the role
Q-Sourcing, a manpower management firm operating in East Africa, is recruiting on behalf of its client EACOP for a Logistics Officer to work at site in Uganda. The role reports to the Logistics Fleet Coordinator and covers planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics activities so that personnel, materials, equipment and services move safely, cost-effectively and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation and distribution across EACOP Uganda sites.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, camp and site access logistics.
- Track material deliveries and maintain logistics records.
- Support customs, importation and freight forwarding processes.
- Liaise with vendors, transporters and service providers.
- Prepare logistics performance reports and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, security and company standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure or EPC projects.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
