LPG & Lubricants Sales and Marketing Manager

About the role

Nile Energy Limited is looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to drive growth of its LPG and lubricants business across Uganda. You will lead market development, brand visibility and revenue generation for both product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales, revenue, margins, market share and acquire new customers nationwide.
• Develop and manage retail, dealer, reseller, commercial, institutional, restaurant and household channels for LPG and lubricants.
• Design and execute marketing plans, promotions, activations and customer‑engagement campaigns.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, prospect pipelines, databases and lead conversion reports.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends; recommend business strategies.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, petroleum regulations, HSE requirements and company policies.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, performance reports and follow up on trade receivables.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales and marketing team to meet KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Petroleum Studies or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or commercial management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of the Ugandan market, customer segments, pricing and competitors.
• Experience in LPG, lubricants, petroleum, energy, FMCG, B2B or industrial sales is preferred.
• Professional sales/marketing qualification and a valid driving permit are added advantages.
