Management Trainee – Human Resources

About the role

The Management Trainee position is part of the Aspire Future Leaders Program, offering a rotational experience across HR functions to develop functional expertise and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Review HR processes, systems, and global best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support executive search and talent acquisition through market research and talent mapping.
• Participate in Learning and Development initiatives, including training coordination and internship support.
• Assist the Office of Wellbeing, Employee Engagement, and Belonging in developing employee-focused programs.
• Contribute to projects on process automation, system enhancements, and new HR initiatives.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to generate workforce insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance employee experience and organizational culture.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably ongoing, in Human Resources or a related field.
• Maximum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Residency or permission to work in Uganda.
