Medical Sales Representative

About the role

Medequip (U) Limited is seeking a motivated Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell a wide range of medical equipment, supplies and consumables to hospitals, clinics and laboratories across Uganda. You will be the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, building relationships and driving revenue growth for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customer accounts and business opportunities in the healthcare sector.
• Present, demonstrate and sell Medequip’s medical devices, imaging, critical‑care and consumable products.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, including hospitals, clinics and laboratory managers.
• Conduct regular field visits, product presentations and follow‑up meetings.
• Prepare accurate quotations, negotiate terms and close sales to meet assigned targets.
• Provide after‑sales support and coordinate with the service team for installations and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Business/Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year proven experience in medical equipment, supplies or healthcare sales.
• Familiarity with the Ugandan healthcare market and direct experience dealing with hospitals, clinics, laboratories or procurement departments.
• Willingness to travel within Kampala and other regions of Uganda.
