About the role
Canonical is seeking professionals to drive enterprise sales and alliances for its open source solutions. The role focuses on expanding strategic relationships and promoting Ubuntu and other open source capabilities across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the strategy for sales engagements and partnership growth.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms while aligning with internal field teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to meet targets.
- Travel domestically and internationally to meet clients, partners, and attend company events.
Required profile
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in technology sales.
- Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel internationally twice a year.
