Operations and Finance Officer – Kampala, Uganda

About the role

The Operations and Finance Officer will support the efficient running of the Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Programme Phase 2 (TDDAP2) in Uganda. Based in Kampala, the role ensures sound financial management and compliance with Palladium’s policies and the UK FCDO donor requirements. The position contributes to effective resource utilisation, strong internal controls and timely, accurate operational support for the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor payments in line with organisational policies and donor guidelines.
• Maintain financial records and support budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the Uganda component of TDDAP2.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and donor requirements, including the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
• Provide operational support to the Country Operations and Finance Manager and programme teams.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation and programme financial reviews.
