Partnership Officer – Finance & Grant Management

About the role

The Partnership Officer will support GOAL International’s Finance Team in managing relationships with civil society and private sector partners. Working closely with the Finance & Partnership Specialist, the role ensures partners comply with donor regulations and achieve programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑award financial capacity assessments and post‑award compliance reviews of partners.
• Review partner budgets and proposals to ensure alignment with donor rules.
• Monitor and facilitate partner tranche payments, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete.
• Provide capacity‑building support for partner financial systems and produce detailed visit reports.
• Coordinate partner assessment meetings, document decisions, and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA/CPA at least level 2.
• 2–3 years of INGO experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 70 % of the time.
