SME Banking Manager

About the role

The SME Banking Manager will drive growth, profitability and retention of the Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises portfolio for Housing Finance Bank. The role combines business development, relationship management and credit oversight to deliver targeted financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of the SME banking strategy to meet asset, deposit, customer and revenue targets while managing risk.
• Conduct regular client visits and financial health checks, providing advisory support and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Oversee the SME lending process, ensuring proper documentation, approvals and compliance.
• Review and update SME value propositions and loan procedures in line with market changes.
• Prepare and authorise lending documentation, settlement sheets and related ledger entries.
• Run sales meetings to track goals, drive productivity and monitor competition trends.

Required profile

• A Business Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management or related field.
• Minimum 7 years banking experience, including at least 3 years in relationship and sales management.
• Strong credit analysis capability and proven business development track record.
