Production Operator

About the role

AB InBev is looking for an Operator to join its Mbarara brewery. The role focuses on interpreting and implementing the production plan, monitoring and controlling shift processes using VPO standards such as OWS, Team Rooms and 5S. The operator works closely with teammates and resources to unleash full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and implement the production plan for each shift.
• Monitor and control production processes using VPO tools (OWS, Team Rooms, 5S).
• Perform quality analysis and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Manage waste and by‑products on shift.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and follow escalation procedures.
• Execute VPO implementation plans and ensure shift goals are achieved.
• Ensure proper documentation and administration systems are completed on time.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant production or manufacturing experience.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented and ethical team player.

Required skills

• Proficient English (spoken and written).
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital tools (OWS, Team Rooms, 5S).
