Sales Agent – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Agent position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala. You will work for an insurance agency, identifying new business opportunities, presenting services to prospective clients, and nurturing existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Present agency services to prospective clients.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct sales calls and meetings, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align client needs with agency offerings.
• Provide market feedback to internal teams.
• Achieve defined sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Customer service and training abilities to support and guide clients.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing, or related services.
• Basic understanding of insurance or similar service sectors is an advantage.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills for handling multiple accounts.
• Comfortable using office productivity tools and CRM or sales‑tracking systems.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
