Sales Agent – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Agent to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business, presenting our services to prospective clients, and guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance market.
• Present agency services to prospective clients and prepare tailored sales proposals.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships, respond to inquiries, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct meetings and calls, coordinate with internal teams, and provide client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in sales planning, track performance against targets, and contribute to revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven customer‑service experience with a focus on building trust.
• Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing, or related services.
• Background in insurance sales or training is an advantage.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with solid negotiation skills and ability to work under targets.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
