Sales Agent – Insurance & Marketing Services

About the role

The Sales Agent will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency, promoting the company’s advertising and marketing services to prospective clients. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing leads and closing sales to meet established targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through research, networking and cold‑calling.
• Conduct client meetings, deliver tailored sales pitches and present the agency’s service portfolio.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects, follow up on leads and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with available insurance‑related marketing solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to clients and achieve defined sales performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Understanding of insurance products is an advantage.
• Goal‑oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and meet or exceed targets.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Experience using CRM tools to manage leads and client information.
