Sales Agent - Insurance Solutions

About the role

Business Skills Uganda is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Agent based in Kampala. The agent identifies and engages prospective clients, presents the company's insurance and business planning solutions, and follows up on leads to turn them into long-term customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and explain business planning and advertising solutions
• Negotiate terms and close sales
• Provide ongoing customer support
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets
• Take part in training sessions, share market feedback and help refine sales strategies

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships
• Solid sales abilities, including lead generation, negotiation and closing
• Knowledge of insurance and related financial products, or willingness to learn them
• Background in training or facilitation, so solutions can be explained clearly
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is an advantage; prior field sales experience in Uganda is also helpful
