Sales Associate – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala, working for an insurance agency. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong client pipeline by identifying prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective clients and follow up on leads.
• Meet clients in person, conduct sales presentations, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate terms to close deals and ensure campaigns align with client objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver agreed‑upon solutions on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports.
• Provide ongoing support to clients to encourage renewals and referrals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in sales, client relationship management, and basic negotiation.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of advertising, marketing concepts, and media services (beneficial).
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and organized record‑keeping.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client engagements.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, respect for diversity, and a collaborative team approach.
