Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

An insurance agency is hiring a Sales Executive who reports to the Insurance Agency Manager within the Sales and Marketing department. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business, building client relationships and presenting agency services and campaign proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and reach out to potential clients, and follow up on leads
• Prepare sales presentations and campaign proposals
• Negotiate contracts and coordinate with the creative and account management teams
• Track sales pipelines and targets, and report regularly on sales performance
• Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to support long-term partnerships

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing or related fields
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is beneficial
• Comfortable working on-site in Kampala and engaging daily with clients and internal teams

Required skills

• Sales prospecting, lead generation and pipeline management, including experience with CRM tools
• Client relationship management and negotiation
• Understanding of campaign planning, brand positioning and basic digital marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to write proposals and documentation
• Independent and collaborative work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management
