Sales & Marketing Officer – Insurance Agency

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business and nurturing existing client relationships for an insurance agency. You will act as the bridge between the sales, marketing and creative teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance market.
• Present agency services to prospective clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Meet with clients, prepare and deliver sales proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Track performance against sales targets and report results.
• Support marketing campaigns, gather market insights, and contribute ideas to improve sales strategies.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or media sales.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales tracking tools.
