Sales & Marketing Representative – Full‑time (Kampala)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency. The Sales & Marketing Representative will identify prospects, build client relationships, and showcase the agency’s services to potential partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Present the agency’s services to prospective partners.
• Manage sales pipelines and prepare proposals.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal creative and account teams.
• Provide ongoing client support and gather feedback.
• Participate in training or promotional events to strengthen brand presence.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales and marketing abilities to drive revenue and negotiate deals.
• Capability to support client and team training on products or campaigns.
• Relevant experience in advertising, marketing, or a related commercial role.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work toward clear targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency with basic office software.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools or CRM systems.
• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
