Sales & Marketing Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency. You will identify prospects, present services, and manage the entire sales cycle while supporting marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients, present insurance services and close deals.
• Support the development and execution of promotional campaigns.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and follow up to maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct market research and track sales and campaign performance.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Provide basic product and service training to clients when required.
• Represent the company at events, exhibitions and networking activities.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with clear presentation and active listening.
• Proven customer‑service orientation and relationship‑building ability.
• Demonstrated sales experience including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Practical understanding of sales and marketing principles.
• Experience delivering training or product demonstrations is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and handle multiple accounts.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• High professionalism, integrity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced agency environment.
