Sales & Marketing Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Representative to join our Kampala office. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our insurance services to both prospective and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through sales calls, meetings, and networking.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and quotations to prospects.
• Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and achieve revenue targets.
• Support marketing campaigns, gather market and client feedback, and ensure alignment with creative and account teams.
• Track performance metrics, compile regular reports, and present insights to management.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on building long‑term trust.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing activities, including lead generation and deal closing.
• Experience training clients or team members on services or marketing tools.
• Ability to work towards targets, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities.
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles; agency experience is a plus.
• Comfort using digital tools such as email, CRM systems, and presentation software.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
