Sales & Marketing Specialist – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will promote Prudential Uganda’s insurance and financial products, generate new business opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and works closely with internal teams and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Promote insurance and financial products to prospective clients.
• Identify leads, manage pipelines and close sales.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Conduct product presentations and deliver training sessions for sales teams and partners.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide responsive service.
• Track sales performance, prepare regular sales and marketing reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with company objectives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience with a record of meeting targets.
• Ability to deliver training and coaching on products and sales techniques.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and experience supporting financial‑services campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Analytical, reporting and organizational abilities with proficiency in common office and CRM software.
• High integrity, reliability and professionalism with a commitment to ethical sales practices.
• Experience in insurance, banking or broader financial services in Uganda is an advantage.
