Sales & Service Center Associate

About the role

A manpower management firm in the East African region is recruiting, on behalf of a client in the renewable energies sector, a Sales and Service Center Associate to work at its service centers in Mukono and Apac. The role covers customer service, aftersales support and sales, with operations running 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude, know products well, resolve complaints within SLAs, respond promptly to inquiries and keep the service center clean and tidy.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels through regular stock takes, ensure spare parts are available and manage inventory.
• Aftersales: raise issues via tickets, track interactions and complaints, troubleshoot non-technical issues, escalate unresolved ones to the product team, and generate reports on service center activity and stock.
• Sales: work with the supervisor to set daily sales targets, lead generation and call log KPIs; convert leads through demos, market sourcing and referral programs; follow up leads and handle aftersales requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration (Sales and Marketing option).
• At least 2 years of proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, high EQ, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Organized, proactive decision-maker comfortable with ambiguity and in a dynamic environment.
