Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Staff member to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on identifying prospective clients, presenting our services and building lasting relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through research and outreach.
• Conduct sales calls, meetings and persuasive presentations to prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, leads and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to support campaigns and gather client feedback.
• Meet defined sales targets and provide regular reports on market trends and customer needs.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client‑facing interactions.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven environment with good organization and time‑management.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and a collaborative mindset.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking leads and activities.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use spreadsheets for data management and reporting.
