About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Team Manager to lead our insurance agency’s sales force in Kampala. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on driving revenue, coaching representatives and ensuring exceptional client service.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed targets.
- Design and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee daily sales operations, monitor performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Conduct regular training sessions and provide ongoing coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the team works collaboratively and adheres to company policies and goals.
Required profile
- Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team successfully.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Experience in training and developing team members.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Ability to analyse metrics and translate them into performance improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus but not mandatory.
