Salesperson – Annuities & Life Assurance (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Salesperson to join our team in Kampala. You will promote Prudential Annuities’ annuity and life assurance products, helping individuals and families secure their financial future.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients for annuity and life assurance solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments and present product features and benefits clearly.
• Guide clients through application and enrollment processes, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, transactions, and sales activities.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and support service quality.
• Stay informed about company offerings, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with an ethical approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Basic financial literacy and comfort discussing insurance, annuities and long‑term savings.
• Organizational and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple leads.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in sales, insurance or financial services is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background in business, finance, marketing or related field is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software.
• Experience using CRM tools for sales tracking and client management.
