Salesperson – Insurance Solutions (Hybrid, Kampala)

About the role

Liberty Uganda is seeking a motivated Salesperson to join its insurance team in Kampala. This full‑time hybrid position combines office work with the flexibility to work from home, focusing on delivering tailored insurance solutions to individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through prospecting and networking.
• Present Liberty Uganda’s range of insurance products, including funeral, life, education, accidental disability, critical illness, and health coverage.
• Prepare and deliver proposals that match client needs and follow up on leads.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and sales activities.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships to achieve retention and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer support.
• Stay updated on product changes, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven sales, negotiation and closing abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and relationship‑management capabilities.
• Basic financial literacy to explain insurance solutions clearly.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and documentation.
• Relevant experience in insurance, financial services or a similar sales environment is advantageous.
• A diploma or certificate in business, marketing, finance or a related field is a plus.
