Senior Manager - Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management

About the role

The Senior Manager – Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management will lead MTN Uganda's efforts to protect revenue and prevent fraud. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for shaping and executing the Group RAFM strategy across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the RAFM strategy for MTN Uganda.
• Oversee revenue assurance and fraud management activities for senior stakeholders, including the OPCO CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Audit Committee.
• Build and manage the RAFM organisational structure, including recruitment, competency assessment, training and succession planning.
• Own the internal control environment for revenue, cost of sales and margins.
• Coordinate with the RAFM Shared Service Hub to ensure optimal control design and performance.
• Support primary control owners and maintain the Combined Assurance Model for revenue leakage risk.
• Adapt control frameworks to business, proposition and technical changes.
• Promote revenue‑responsible culture throughout the OPCO.
• Identify, communicate and resolve RAFM issues, ensuring management awareness.
• Align reporting with Group RAFM standards and work with the RAFM Centre of Excellence to improve policies and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in revenue assurance, fraud management or related finance functions within a large telecom or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
