Senior Sales Agent – International Trade Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Agent to drive new business in the international trade finance sector. Based in Kampala, you will work closely with clients to understand their financing needs and deliver tailored solutions that support cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in trade finance.
• Prospect, conduct client meetings and present customised financial proposals.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and accurate documentation.
• Monitor market trends, gather client feedback and contribute to sales strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within finance, banking or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees and supply‑chain finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive and non‑discriminatory practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
