Shared Services Coordinator (Oil & Gas Site)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, a manpower management firm operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan, is recruiting a Shared Services Coordinator on behalf of its client TOTAL Energies. The position is based at the site (rotational) in Kampala, reports to the Shared Services Superintendent and sits in the Logistics division.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct, Ugandan legislation, company rules and SOX standards for system security and reporting
• Promote HSE policy, safety awareness and the 12 Golden Rules, and follow up on HSE anomalies and corrective actions
• Take part in defining departmental safety and environment objectives and risk-reduction steps
• Monitor and optimise activity costs, and review road and pad maintenance procedures against company standards
• Follow up KPIs and action plans for Shared Support Services operations
• Manage borehole, waste and fuel operations, including contractor applications and liaison with departments
• Take part in service quality meetings and prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports
• Maintain records and statistics used for cost allocation and invoice verification, and support audits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences or Engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in project, logistics and civil engineering activities
• Good knowledge of supply and support onshore operations in oil and gas, including base, lifting equipment, drilling, water supply, environment and waste management
• Knowledge of environmental protection, health and safety, waste management and dangerous goods legislation
• Self-motivated, able to lead a team and communicate effectively under pressure
