International Specialty Coffee Sales Manager

About the role

Obato Industries Ltd is seeking an experienced International Specialty Coffee Sales Manager to lead the expansion of Ugandan green and specialty coffee into global markets. The role is based in Kampala and requires a strong network of coffee buyers, importers, traders, and roasters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to enter and grow international markets for Ugandan coffee.
• Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with new international buyers and roasters.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor global coffee market trends, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Represent Obato at international coffee exhibitions and business meetings.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, quality control, and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in coffee sales, preferably international/export.
• Proven track record of building a network of coffee buyers and roasters.
• Deep understanding of green coffee quality, processing, grading, and specialty coffee standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Fluent English and willingness to work in Uganda.
