Product Operations Assistant

About the role

Palmpay is looking for a proactive and results‑driven Product Operations Assistant to support the product management team. The role bridges gaps between departments, facilitates communication, and helps optimise product performance across the fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing product roadmaps and strategies.
• Coordinate product launches, ensuring timely releases and updates with cross‑functional teams.
• Track and analyse product performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Handle documentation and reporting throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate smooth collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
• Conduct competitive market research to inform product decisions.
• Develop training resources and user documentation for product onboarding.
• Provide support to internal and external stakeholders on product‑related inquiries.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, public relations or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in product management or product development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a Ugandan national.
