Regional Fashion Retail Manager

About the role

The Regional Fashion Retail Manager will lead the commercial and operational performance of our client’s fashion stores in Uganda and Rwanda. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will travel regularly between Kampala and Kigali to ensure brand consistency, profitability, and an excellent customer experience across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive regional revenue and profitability by meeting sales targets, conversion rates, basket size, and other retail KPIs.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, adapting them to local market insights and competitor trends.
• Manage relationships with landlords, suppliers, logistics providers, regulators, and key community partners.
• Lead, coach, and mentor store managers, overseeing staffing, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Act as the primary liaison between regional stores and headquarters, ensuring product performance aligns with brand standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in fashion retail management.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and profit targets in multi‑store environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
