Sales Agent – Business Planning & Advertising

About the role

We are looking for motivated Sales Agents to promote Business Skills Uganda’s business planning and advertising services to prospective clients in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position involves prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing sales to achieve targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through calls, visits and networking.
• Present and explain the company’s business planning, advertising and development services.
• Conduct client meetings, respond to inquiries and maintain accurate lead and sales records.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate with the team to refine sales approaches and participate in training sessions.
• Support promotional events and marketing activities as required.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with relationship‑building skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset, integrity and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field; prior field sales experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of insurance or related financial products (preferred).
